Final Thoughts

After the opening goal, the Sharks looked like they were looking for an excuse to lose this game, and they found it in Nabby's gaffe in the second period. The lost composure, they lost organization and they lost the game. Now they just need to leave it all on the ice at home in front of the home crowd on Monday. And we will be there, trying with 17,000 others to will a Game 7.

Luckily, Guerin being out didn't hurt the Wings at all.

I'm curious when you, Ron Wilson, and the San Jose Sharks will wake up and realize they're being beaten. Continuing to treat it like it's some mysterious thing and you're giving games away - how about realizing that there's another team on the ice who is TAKING it from you? Then, and only then, will the Sharks have a chance. They have to realize the answer is simple - they're being outworked and outplayed and have to do better, be smarter, work harder and be more aggressive. How many games in a row does it have to happen before they realize it's not a fluke, they're being outplayed?

This is where experience comes in, as I've said from the beginning. The Wings obviously have it, know how to deal with the ebbs and flows of a playoff series, and the Sharks don't.
